Bachelor of laws (LL.B.) 3 Year Course

  1. A candidate who has taken the bachelor's or the master's degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Medical/ Management/ Engineering/ Nursing/ Agriculture or the degree of Shastri/ Acharya or the degree of Ayurvedacharya/ Ayurveda Brihaspati of this university or any other university recognized for the purpose by the syndicate, UOR with full course prescribed for the degree and secured a minimum of 45% marks (excluding any concessional marks) in the aggregate marks prescribed for the examination for the aforesaid degree shall be eligible for admission to LL.B. first year Course.

  2. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination with full course in one attempt or in parts or as private candidate or by correspondence, will also be eligible for admission to the LL.B. First Year Course class provided they secure minimum percentage of marks as prescribed above.

  3. A candidate shall apply for admission on the prescribed form and admission to the first year of the three year professional Law Degree pro gramme.

  4. Admission shall be made on the basis of merit and in accordance with the rules made therefore by the competent authority. Provided further that the condition of obtaining a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination shall not apply to the Natural Born sons/daughters of parents belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/other Backward Classes and Physically Handicapped persons.

  5. A candidate shall apply for admission on the prescribed form and may be required to appear at his own expense for interview before the principal.

  6. Admission of a student to the College shall be subject to the conditions prescribed by the Ordinance / Rules of University of Rajasthan , jaipur in this regard.

  7. At the time of submitting his application form the applicant must furnish his T.C. (original) and attested copies of all document i.e. Mark-sheet and other certificates.

Fee once paid shall not be refunded or transferred by the college.

  1. Enrollment:No one shall be admitted to any examination of the University unless enrolled as a student of the University. The enrollment fees shall be paid once only irrespective of the number of times the candidate appears at examination of the University or whether he/she appears as regular student or an ex-student of College.

  2. Attendance: The expression regular course of study means attendance required to be put in by a candidate in the lectures, tutorials and practical as provided in the ordinances for the respective examinations to be taken by the candidate. Subject to the provisions of con donations of shortage in attendance as contained in 0.145 ( University of Rajasthan) and the provision of 0-145-A (University of Rajasthan ) a candidate who fails to put in the required minimum attendance as provided in the Ordinances shall be detained from appearing at the examination.

  3. Explanation: Due paper examination will be held every year after the LL.B. Main examination. Non appearance at the following examination shall be counted as an attempt for the purpose of counting the chance.

  4. This schemes shall be applicable from the session 2001.

  5. One main and three due paper chances will also be given to existing students. Subject to relevant ordinance and regulations of University of Rajasthan applicable to them Regarding practical paper Ixth of the LL.B.l,ll& lllrd year

  6. Moot court: In the LL.B. Classes students will be introduced to learn through Moot Court. T hey may be required to prepare arguments on behalf of the plaintiff or the defendant or may be asked to sit as judge and deliver judment of a case presented before the Moot Court. The purpose is to teach them to speak to speak with confidence and to inculcate the habit to self study and of readind the law journals and periodicals. Every case presented before the Moot Court will be followed by a discussion. Every student will attend at least two moot courts in each year.

  7. Observance of trial in 2 cases in each year. They will maintain a record and enter the various steps observed during their attendance on different days in the court assignment.

  8. Court visit: Students shall observe trial in District & Sessions Courts and High Court. Every student must attend at least two court visits in each year.

  9. The fourth component of this paper will be Viva Voice Examination on all the above 3 aspects. This will carry 20 marks.
